Taught by practitioners, not just instructors

Our instructors have flown as remote pilot in command supporting law enforcement and emergency response, not just training-company hires reading slides.

Built for the mission

Curriculum covers agency UAS program setup, COA guidance, and real search & mission scenarios: the parts of the job a generic Part 107 class skips.

We come to you

No travel required for your department. We schedule on-site, nationwide, around your agency's calendar.

Small class, real attention

Capped at 16 students. Live Q&A and hands-on scenario work with instructors who know the room, not a lecture hall of 100.

Who's Flying

A team of instructors with real public safety flight experience

1105 Drones is a family-owned public safety UAS training provider based in Madisonville, Louisiana. Founded by a certified remote pilot who flew as remote pilot in command supporting law enforcement and emergency response, we've since built a team of instructors who've flown those same missions our students are training to run.

That's the difference between a class taught from a slide deck and one taught from the field.

Questions

Before you enroll

Do officers need prior drone experience?

No. The course is built to take someone with zero flight background through full Part 107 exam readiness.

Are the 2 host-agency seats automatic?

Yes. Any agency that hosts the class at their facility receives 2 complimentary seats.

What if we want to send a large group?

Both courses are priced flat per student, and sessions are capped at 16. If your agency hosts the class at its own facility, you receive 2 free seats on top of any seats you pay for — which is the most economical way to send a group.

Is this only for law enforcement?

Fire, EMS, and emergency management personnel are equally welcome. The curriculum applies across public safety disciplines.

Do you travel outside Louisiana?

Yes. All of our courses are available nationwide. We travel to your agency and teach on-site, scheduled around your calendar.
